And it all fell down ..... the Jenga tower of Life.

Updated: Apr 24, 2022

Humans are complex creatures – we all experience heartache, grief, pleasure and a multitude of other emotions, sometimes all in one day. The only difference between us is how we deal with what is thrown at us.

Imagine a Jenga tower, all those small identical bricks

representing each emotion, every core value in which we build ourselves, separately they are just bricks but together, when they are an intricate structure combining everything together, they are strong and unbreakable. Its only once we start moving those bricks that we begin to struggle, to keep balance.

Its when these individual morals and beliefs, feelings and emotions are tampered with that the solid construction of the tower that we wobble, we hesitate, and we can collapse completely.

It’s the evolution of this process that makes humans stronger, wiser, compassionate and aware. Every time that Jenga tower wobbles, we try and mend it, that one brick so it slots back in to stabilize the structure, to stop a complete collapse. From personal experience I can tell you that this is not easy..

Many of my blocks have been disturbed over time, sometimes it involves a quick adjustment but other times when the collapse is imminent, lots of individual things shifting or disappearing in a small amount of time the sorting and the rebuilding can take a long time, but it is worth it.

Please remember:

There is no harm in asking for help.
